Pack your bags and jump in -- it's a Road Trip! Rebecca Frezza's second kids' album is a free-spirited blend of pop, rock, jazz, and more. Frezza sounds most at home singing from the heart and encouraging kids to believe in themselves. The '60s-retro rocker "Just Imagine" is a melodic ode to the power of imagination. "It's not as hard as it might seem/just open up your mind and dream," Frezza sings dreamily, inspiring nostalgic memories for parents and flights of fancy for youngsters. The jazz-infused, finger-snapping "B3" is an inspired homage to the Hammond B-3 organ as well as "buzzy, buzzy, buzzy, bee boppin' boogie bee, boppin' boogie, crawlin' creepin' and crawlin' " bugs. The rocking title track evokes a family road trip with two voices, the antsy kids in the backseat and the reassuring mom at the wheel. The song's subject matter and imagery suggests the disc's colorful cover art, with a big yellow truck escorting a Noah's Ark of kids and animals on an adventure. The album's brightest star, however, is "Rock My Baby," a lesson in the wonders of simplicity delivered in an a cappella doo-wop style, with only bright handclaps as musical accompaniment. Like the album, this song is rendered with such ease and unencumbered vocals, it's sure to find a special place in the hearts of kids...and their parents, too.

With a light, expressive rock n' roll soprano, singer-songwrier Rebecca Frezza fronts a sophisticated band of musicians who play a wide variety of instruments - guitar, harmonica, drums, flute, cello, sax and more. Frezza's songs cover an appealing range of child-savvy subjects, from friends and dream-time to babysitters, a wacky "Space Dog" and a "bee bopping boogie."

"...provides kids with songs that sound like 'grown-up' music, but with appropriate themes just for them. ...Won't drive mom and dad crazy as the family drives to their vacation destination."
Kim Watss-Diaz - Houston Family Magazine - Houston, TX

"...Frezza has an incredibly clear melodic voice, evocative of modern Folk style. Her delivery of simple rhyming tunes is pleasantly devoid of the 'nails-on-the-blackboard' irritation that children's CD's usually inspire."
